I cannot tell you how happy I am to share with you a book that will add to your Fall season:

Autumn Bliss - Over 200 ways to celebrate the Fall Harvest Season through faith, home, and family,”  by Denise Thompson and Lori Ramsey.

It is always fun to share a really good book with my readers that I know will inspire them, but even MORE fun and exciting when it is a blogger that I have a personal friendship with.

Both Denise and Lori are Godly women who share a desire to transform the hearts of other women, especially in the home.  I am thrilled to say that this book hits a home run!  You will be comforted to know that you can slow the pace down in your home this fall season and enjoy some fun family activities that will not only be enjoyable, but will not break the bank.

Autumn Bliss is full of over 200 ways that you and your family can cherish the Fall harvest season. Often times when school is back in session, we are so rushed that before we know it Christmas is sneaking up on us.  This book allows you to take a step back, appreciate the crisp fall air and plan some family enjoyment and not let the season be forgotten.

Denise and Lori have thoughtfully put together a collection of writing that will inspire – I especially like the emphasis taken to focus on encouraging gratitude as well as thanksgiving in ourselves and our children.  Denise and Lori share personal stories and add relevant scripture to draw the reader in, which can often be missing in general “activity” books.  This is not your typical “fall activity” book.

Here is a sneak peek at just a few of the topics you’ll find inside:

I was thrilled to see my families favorite Apple Butter recipe in Denise’s book – Overnight Autumn Apple Butter – I had made this recipe in August and we are down to our last jar.  It is a hit, so easy and great on the budget too.  We buy a lot of apples, but sometimes they don’t always get eaten at their prime.  I just peel them and slice them up {I have this great apple slicer which makes it super easy} and toss them in the freezer to use in recipes.  This Overnight Autumn Apple Butter recipe was perfect to use my apples from the freezer.  My husband thinks this recipe would make great gifts for our neighbors for Christmas this year – I have to agree!

The detail taken in this book is seen as you turn each page.  There are over 65 full color photos and more than 35 scripture references throughout the book, which makes it a joy to read.

If you would like to win a copy of Autumn Bliss, just click over to the book on amazon and check out the table of contents and tell me what one recipe you most want to try!

I absolutely love Fall! I love to decorate with Fall decor and make my home smell like pumpkin spice :) But my favorite part of Fall is the slowing down from Summer and refocusing to spending more time reading my bible and focusing on God’s plan for my life. I’m going to have to check out the book, thanks for recommending it.

So wanting to try the pumpkin bread with cranberries. Pumpkin and cranberries are some of my most favorite fall foods. This is sounding like a must have book. Will be a little patient in case I can win here first then it will be a go get book. Love the faith and family aspect of this as well. Thanks for sharing this with us.
