Tackling this daily task in the Weekly Household Planner:

Spot Clean with Magic Eraser

I thought today I would share with you some of my favorite quick cleaning products.  At the top of the list is the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser – it is by far the best and most versatile cleaning tool out there!  I first discovered these beauties when I was cleaning homes as a second job when I was a single mom.  They saved a lot of time, energy and made my customers think I was a miracle worker!

They are great for erasing little marks from nearly everything.  I use them on walls, woodwork, floors, doors, washing the car, wiping down the frig and getting the grime off my stove top.  I keep one in my drawer at my kitchen sink and use it every evening after our dinner clean up to wipe down my sink and make it shine.  I have a white porcelain sink, which gets brutally attacked all day long by my family – but I can scrub those little marks off each evening and have a sparkling sink.  Love it!

I love using my Thieves Cleaner and keep it handy already mixed up in a spray bottle under my kitchen sink. I also shared some homemade cleaner ideas awhile back.

What is your favorite use for Magic Erasers?

My favorite use for the Magic Eraser is to clean my Crocs. It’s quick, easy, and they look brand new in minutes. Gotta love it!

Love it!!! Never would have thought of that one!

I use them almost daily, but probably my favorite use is on our walls when I deep clean. I don’t know why, whether is it messy preteen & teen kids, hubby’s dirty work hands or something else (surely it couldn’t have anything to do with me), but our walls, esp in doorways, get so grimy (we have white walls). A few swipes with a Magic Eraser (or um the generic equivalent) and a dry rag behind that and my walls are white instead of gray!
